Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET):
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with modern test automation tools and AI-assisted development/testing tools.
- Exposure to distributed or cloud-hosted applications is an advantage.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and SDLC/STLC.
- Experience with manual and automation testing.
- Knowledge of API, UI, and end-to-end testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based applications.
- Experience with automation frameworks and scripting/programming languages.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
- Create test plans based on business and technical requirements.
- Identify, report, and track software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to improve software quality.
- Validate API, UI, and end-to-end application functionality.
- Support CI/CD pipelines by running and maintaining automated test suites.
- Participate in release validation across QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation, reports, and defect records.
- Continuously improve testing processes and adopt modern AI-assisted testing practices.
