Description

Work on design and development of 5G protocol stack. Work on layer 1, layer 2 and layer 3 of 5G NR protocol stack.
3GPP 5G NR Feature development
Job responsibilities include system level feature coding, developing, and executing unit test.
Work with internal test team and external customers to resolve issues.

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs.
Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.
Develop real-time embedded software and device drivers
Mobile SW development for Windows Mobile, Android or Linux
Good understanding of OS concepts, Data structures, etc
C/C++ and object oriented design
Wireless network standards such as CDMA/GSM/UMTS/LTE
Linux/UNIX, Linux Drivers, Linux Kernel Development
Protocols such TCP/UDP/IP/SIP/RTP etc
Multimedia technologies including Audio, Video, Imaging
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to collaborate and work in teams
Good verbal and written communication skill Opportunities include:

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ECE, EE, CE, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 0-1 years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
Familiarity with 3GPP 5G NR Specifications
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in NR or LTE protocol development experience.
