Apprentice Engineer – Electrical:

Here’s what you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Academic passing year: 2026.
  • Candidates with a master’s degree are eligible only if their bachelor’s degree was completed within four years of the application date. Therefore, a B.Tech degree completed before 2022 would not meet this requirement
  • No dead or live backlogs/ATKT.
  • Minimum 7 CGPA throughout all semesters.
  • Candidates must not have any prior work experience.
  • Candidates must not be registered on the NATS portal.
  • Internship, academic project, or industrial training experience related to engineering design or project delivery is preferred.
  • Familiarity with engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc.
  • Understanding of digital engineering, BIM, CAD, or data analytics tools.
  • Exposure to international engineering standards and practices is desirable.

Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will support engineering and design activities with multidisciplinary domestic and global teams, including

  • Assist in preparing electrical design drawings, schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams
  • Support in designing power distribution systems, control panels, and electrical circuits
  • Work with design software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools
  • Assist in load calculations, cable sizing, and equipment selection
  • Prepare technical documentation, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and project reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, civil, procurement, and project teams)
  • Support project engineers in design modifications and updates based on site requirements
  • Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with applicable standards and codes
  • Assist in testing, validation, and commissioning support when required

Apprentice Eligibility Requirements: As this opportunity falls under the Apprentices Act, 1961, applicants must additionally meet the following criteria:

  • Must be eligible for apprenticeship training under the Government of India guidelines.
  • Must not have previously undergone apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
  • Must satisfy all eligibility conditions prescribed by the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) and applicable government regulations.
