Clinical Care: Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound dressing, IV therapy, and vital sign monitoring.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on patient needs.

Assist in diagnostic tests, therapeutic procedures, and coordinate with doctors.

Ensure proper documentation of care in nursing notes and EMR (if applicable).

Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the concerned physician.

Patient Safety & Infection Control: Maintain hygiene standards and follow hand hygiene protocols.

Adhere to infection control policies and waste segregation practices.

Use PPE as per hospital policy and educate patients and attendants on hygiene practices.

Medication Management: Prepare and administer medications accurately as per doctor’s orders.

Maintain medication records and ensure timely stock of drugs and consumables.

Patient & Family Communication: Educate patients and families regarding care plans, discharge instructions, and lifestyle changes.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Administrative Duties: Maintain patient records, handover reports, and shift logs.

Participate in audits, quality improvement programs, and internal training.

Ensure proper shift handover and inventory handover of medications and equipment.

GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
