About Us

We are a global venture capital firm investing in technology startups across India, the US, and other international markets. We're looking for a proactive Legal Associate to support our investments, legal operations, compliance, and portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, NDAs, and commercial agreements.
• Support investment transactions, including term sheets, SAFE agreements, convertible notes, SPVs, shareholders' agreements, subscription agreements, and other legal documents.
• Assist with legal due diligence, fund documentation, corporate governance, and compliance.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct legal research and maintain legal records and documentation.
• Support intellectual property, trademarks, and regulatory matters.
• Assist with online reputation and brand protection, including fake profiles, impersonation, unauthorized content, defamation matters, and platform takedown requests.
• Support legal needs for both the firm and portfolio companies.

Requirements

• Law degree (LLB, JD, or equivalent).
• 2+ years of experience in corporate, startup, venture capital, private equity, or technology law.
• Experience with investment documents, SPVs, fund documentation, or venture financing is preferred.
• Strong drafting, research, communication, and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively from our Bengaluru office.
