18startup is looking for a confident and high-ownership Closer Specialist (Business Development Associate) to speak with startup founders and guide them toward joining our accelerator program.

This is not a cold-calling role. You will handle warm inbound leads—founders who have already shown interest—and help them take the next step with clarity and confidence.

You will be the first voice founders hear, playing a critical role in admissions. Your communication, understanding of startups, and ability to qualify leads will directly impact accelerator growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Speak with warm inbound leads and conduct structured qualification calls
• Understand founder goals and explain the accelerator's value clearly
• Move qualified leads from L1 → L2 and support final closures
• Maintain accurate CRM records (Zoho / Notion / Sheets)
• Consistently achieve weekly and monthly admissions targets

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in EdTech, startup sales, training, admissions, or business development
• Comfortable working in a target-driven environment (non-negotiable)
• Strong communication skills in English & Hindi (regional languages are a plus)
• Ability to confidently speak with founders and student entrepreneurs
• High discipline, ownership mindset, and eagerness to grow fast
• Understanding of startups, accelerators, funding, grants, and early-stage founder psychology (big plus)
