Forward Deployed Engineer

We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineerto build AI Agents for Healthcare. The ideal candidate will be a product-minded, hands-on builder with deep LLM/agent experience (tool use, function calling, RAG, evals) and strong systems design/MLOps chops experience. This role requires a dynamic individual who can drive end-to-end delivery of agentic workflows and lead a cross-functional team in sales, operations, marketing, recruiting, and product management. As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for technical strategy, architecture, and execution of our agent platform.

• Help lead the development of AI Agents, utilizing existing and new services.
• Iteratively improve on our suite of products using data analysis, A/B testing, and a range of other techniques to improve user experience.
• Translate complex AI challenges into actionable engineering strategies, ensuring the correct choice of models, rigorous evals, efficient implementation, and continued maintenance.
• Drive innovation by exploring new AI opportunities and creating 0→1 solutions that push the limits of creative AI applications.
• Contribute to the long-term vision of AI at 3Y, shaping the roadmap and scaling AI capabilities across the company.

• 5+ years of software development, including 2+ years of experience in AI development (ideally 1+ year focused on generative AI products).
• Experience in the following languages: Python and Typescript.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable systems across multiple business lines.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work 5 days a week in our San Francisco or New York office with a fully in-person team.
