Platform Engineer

​We are seeking an Early-Career Platform Engineer to work across application, infrastructure, and deployment layers. About etiS

etiS is an enterprise software platform built as an extension of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) using Autodesk Platform Services (APS). Our products operate at the intersection of application logic, data pipelines, integrations, and infrastructure.

As the platform matures, certain engineering roles are designed to evolve beyond feature delivery into system ownership, reliability, and platform enablement. 

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to application features across frontend and backend layers where required.

• Assist in deploying, configuring, and operating services in cloud environments.

• Work on build and deployment pipelines and environment setup.

• Support runtime systems, including monitoring, logging, and alerting.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve system reliability and operability.

• Work with relational databases, caching layers, and background workers.

• Participate in diagnosing production issues that span application and infrastructure layers.

• Document system behavior, deployment practices, and operational learnings.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong foundational understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

• Hands-on exposure to deploying and running applications in cloud environments.

• Working knowledge of Linux-based systems.

• Understanding of REST APIs and service-to-service communication.

• Exposure to at least one backend language (JavaScript or Python).

• Ability to reason about system behavior beyond just code.

Good to Have

• Working experience with both JavaScript and Python.

• Exposure to frontend technologies (React, TypeScript).

• Experience with containerization (Docker).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code concepts.

• Experience or awareness of: 
    Database versioning tools (e.g., Flyway) 
    Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)

• Interest in reliability, performance, and operational excellence.
