Role Description

Associate Engineer II – Integration & Test Automation (3+ Years)

Responsibilities

1. Contribute to automation of integration workflows by developing automated test suites for batch jobs, REST APIs, and data pipelines.
2. Take ownership of assigned modules and ensure both functional and automated test coverage with minimal supervision.
3. Follow Agile practices and ensure adherence to coding standards, automation best practices, and deployment guidelines.
4. Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, reliability, and data accuracy across build and deployment pipelines.
5. Work closely with product teams and upstream/downstream system owners to understand data contracts, validation rules, and transformation logic.
6. Design and implement automated tests for data validation, reconciliation, and end-to-end integration flows.
7. Implement robust exception handling, logging, monitoring, and ing mechanisms for integration services and batch jobs.
8. Support troubleshooting of production issues, batch failures, automation failures, and data discrepancies.
9. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated test execution for integration services.
10. Promote a collaborative team culture and demonstrate strong communication and time management skills.

Qualifications

1. 3+ years of experience in backend test automation.
2. Familiarity with building integration and batch processing solutions.
3. Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks for backend/API or workflow automation.
4. Experience with scripting languages such as Python for automation.
5. Minimum 2 years of experience in any of the automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, RPA tools, or similar technologies.
6. Experience working with relational databases (Oracle / PostgreSQL) and writing SQL for data validation.
7. Experience working with microservices or distributed applications.
8. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated test execution.
9. Experience working in an Agile environment.
