Data Analyst

We are seeking a detail-orientated and analytical Data Analyst to transform data into meaningful insights that support business decisions. The ideal candidate will collect, analyze, validate, and visualize data from multiple sources, develop reports and dashboards, and collaborate with stakeholders to identify trends and improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Write efficient SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to provide actionable business insights.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular validation and quality checks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Support data migration, ETL validation, and data reconciliation activities.
• Monitor reporting performance and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Document data definitions, business rules, and reporting procedures.
• Work closely with Data Engineers, BI Developers, and Product teams to improve data availability and reporting efficiency.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL or SQL Server).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for dashboard development and data visualization.
• Knowledge of data cleaning, validation, and database fundamentals.
• Understanding of basic ETL concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis.
• Experience with PostgreSQL is preferred.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and Azure analytics services is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems is desirable.
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
