Rover Building Engineer

Description

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and mechanical systems

Respond to service requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner

Perform preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and extend equipment life

Monitor building automation systems and adjust as needed
-
Maintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, and maintenance activities
-
Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed
-
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
-
Maintain a professional presence and provide excellent customer service to tenants and site contacts

Support special projects, after-hours work, or emergency response as required
Eligibility Criteria
-
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between assigned location
-
High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school preferred
-
Minimum 3–5 years of building engineering or facilities maintenance experience
-
Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
-
EPA Universal Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)

Strong problem-solving and communication skills
-
Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities across multiple sites
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to climb ladders, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods

Ability to work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and other facility-related environments
