Utility Mechanic

Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on building systems and equipment

Monitor and maintain utility systems such as HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and mechanical components
-
Follow procedures for the use of tools, equipment, and materials to prevent damage to facilities and systems

Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs, system malfunctions, or upgrades
-
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.

Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities

Inspect machinery, equipment, and building areas for proper operation and report deficiencies
-
Assist with installation, removal, and relocation of equipment, furniture, or fixtures as needed
-
Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules
-
Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner
-
Support seasonal tasks such as weather-related preparation, snow removal, or outdoor utility checks
-
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
Eligibility Criteria
-
Must be 18 years of age or older
-
Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available
-
No experience required and on the job training provided
-
No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
-
Customer service or facilities maintenance experience
-
1 year of utility, mechanical, or building maintenance experience
