Description

Travel to hospitals, physician offices, and other healthcare providers to deliver and retrieve home health documentation.

Obtain timely and accurate signatures on physician orders, including plans of care, re-certifications, and medication changes.

Communicate effectively with physicians, office staff, discharge planners, and case managers to ensure documentation compliance and timely processing.

Maintain accurate records of all visits, documents delivered/collected, and any pending or follow-up needs.

Identify and escalate any issues related to delayed or unsigned orders.

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure coordination of patient care and documentation timelines.

Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations and company policies.

Frequent travel to various healthcare facilities within the designated region.

Occasional lifting and carrying of documents and materials (up to 25 lbs).

Exposure to clinical environments including hospitals and physician offices.

Eligibility Criteria
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare setting or home health agency preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance required.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills a plus.
- Valid TX driver's license
