Description

  • Travel to hospitals, physician offices, and other healthcare providers to deliver and retrieve home health documentation.

  • Obtain timely and accurate signatures on physician orders, including plans of care, re-certifications, and medication changes.

  • Communicate effectively with physicians, office staff, discharge planners, and case managers to ensure documentation compliance and timely processing.

  • Maintain accurate records of all visits, documents delivered/collected, and any pending or follow-up needs.

  • Identify and escalate any issues related to delayed or unsigned orders.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure coordination of patient care and documentation timelines.

  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations and company policies.

  • Frequent travel to various healthcare facilities within the designated region.

  • Occasional lifting and carrying of documents and materials (up to 25 lbs).

  • Exposure to clinical environments including hospitals and physician offices.

  • Dress Code: Scrubs

Eligibility Criteria

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting or home health agency preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance required.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills a plus.
  • Valid TX driver's license
  • Valid/Current auto insurance
