About the Role
We are looking for a Data QA Engineer to join a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) program for a leading global client in the vision care / optics manufacturing space. This role combines data engineering skills with a strong quality mindset to validate manufacturing data flows end to end.
Responsibilities
- Validate data across ETL/ELT pipelines feeding the MES landscape
- Build test automation for data validation using Python
- Work with data models and query layers to verify correctness and completeness
- Collaborate with the European team during Portuguese business hours via MS Teams
YOUR PROFILE
Mandatory Skills
- Strong SQL
- Python for data validation / test automation
- Data modelling and ETL/ELT understanding
- Hands-on experience with Azure and Azure Databricks
- Ability to commit to a one-year assignment and align with Portuguese working hours
Preferred / Additional Skills
- MES / manufacturing data domain experience
