Description
- Develop, deploy, and maintain software for autonomous vehicles using C++ and ROS2.
- Good understanding of the entire stack to debug and troubleshoot issues with the autonomous system in real-time at the customer site, providing quick and effective solutions.
- Work closely with the hardware and software engineering teams to integrate new features and improvements into the autonomous system.
- Conduct and orchestrate field tests with the testing engineers to validate the performance and safety of the autonomous vehicles.
- Analyze data from field tests and deployments to identify and address issues, optimizing the performance of the system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of the autonomous vehicles.
- Must be able to pass federal background checks and receive and maintain issuance of an airport security badge
Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

At least 1-2 years of experience working with autonomous vehicles or robotics systems.

Strong proficiency in C++ and ROS2 framework (including tools like Rviz, Rqt, plotjuggler, etc)

Advanced understanding of Git and Linux.

Strong reasoning skills and mathematics background including linear algebra, geometry, calculus, and probability to name a few.

Excellent debugging skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly.

Exceptional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Master's degree in Robotics or a related field.

Experience with sensor integration and diagnostics managers for autonomous systems.

Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Advanced proficiency in Python or Shell Scripting for automation purposes.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in dynamic field environments.
