About the Agency
A new agency, the Aga Khan Agency for the Habitat (AKAH), works to ensure that people live in physical settings that are as safe as possible from the effects of natural disasters, that residents who do live in such high risk areas are able to cope with disasters in terms of preparedness and response, and that these settings provide access to social and financial services that lead to greater opportunities and a better quality of life.

The position
JOB SCOPE:
To create awareness amongst communities about issues related to heat stress, & flood through meetings, community mobilisation and motivation.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

To liaise with beneficiaries for implementing Project activities.

To form various groups / committees like Self Help Group (SHG), Women Group, etc as required in the Project implementation.

To carry out various trainings of groups / committees mentioned above.

To carry out activity (Listening Workshop) in order to find out needs and priorities of beneficiary.

To fill up various forms and obtain required documents for project activities.
