Airoclip
Description
About Airoclip
Airoclip is a game technology studio creating adaptive puzzle games that respond intelligently to how players think and play. We're building AI-first systems grounded in strong game design fundamentals, with narratives that resonate globally. Based in HSR-Bangalore, we're a small team with ambitious goals to prove that Indian studios can create world-class games. Our engineering philosophy combines solid systems design with creative problem-solving, enabling gameplay that evolves intelligently with each player
The Role
We're looking for a Senior Game Developer who can take ownership of a game and its features from concept to completion. You'll work directly on core gameplay systems, collaborate closely with designers and artists, and help shape how our games feel and function.
This isn't a role where you execute someone else's specifications. You'll be solving problems, proposing solutions, and building systems that need to be both technically sound and a joy to play.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement gameplay systems, mechanics, and features in Unity
- Build robust, maintainable code architecture that supports adaptive AI systems
- Collaborate with designers to prototype and iterate on puzzle mechanics rapidly
- Optimize performance across multiple platforms and devices
- Integrate art assets, animations, and audio into polished gameplay experiences
- Work with our data systems to instrument player behavior tracking
- Participate in regular playtesting and contribute to design discussions
- Own features end-to-end from initial implementation through polish and release
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 3+years of professional game development experience
- Strong proficiency in Unity and C#
- Shipped at least one commercial game or significant interactive project
- Deep understanding of game design principles pacing, feedback loops, difficulty curves
- Experience building complete gameplay features from scratch
- Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and design patterns
- Ability to write clean, well-documented, maintainable code
- Passion for games that goes beyond development—you play, you analyze, you understand why things work
Highly Valued:
- Experience with mobile game development and optimization.
- Knowledge of AI or machine learning integration in gameplay or content systems.
- Familiarity with adaptive difficulty systems or dynamic level generation.
- Understanding of player psychology and behavioral data.
- Experience with shader programming, visual effects, or technical art workflows.
- Contributions to game jams, indie projects, or open-source tools.
- Experience working with backend or multiplayer systems.
What Sets You Apart
You don't just code, you think about player experience. You can explain why a mechanic feels good or why a difficulty curve breaks. You've debugged player frustration, not just bugs. You believe that technical excellence and great design aren't separate goals; they enable each other.
You're comfortable with ambiguity. You can build something when the spec isn't perfect, propose improvements, and iterate based on feedback. You take ownership and pride in your work. You love working in small, creative teams where code, design, and art come together to craft experiences players remember.
Why Join Airoclip
- Direct impact on product direction and technical decisions
- Small team environment where your voice matters
- Solve complex technical and design challenges
- Help build a studio culture from the ground up
- Competitive compensation
