Fundraising Expert

The Fundraising Expert will be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to diversify revenue streams, cultivate donor relationships, secure institutional grants, and forge impactful CSR partnerships. This individual will lead grant writing efforts, manage fundraising campaigns and events, and work closely with cross-functional teams to meet financial goals and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fundraising Strategy & Revenue GrowthDevelop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with Akshar Foundation's mission and objectives.Identify and pursue new revenue streams, including corporate sponsorships, individual giving, and institutional grants.
2. Donor & Corporate Partnership DevelopmentCultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, and institutional funders.Act as the primary liaison for donors and funding partners, ensuring strong engagement and retention.Establish and manage CSR partnerships to attract corporate funding and sponsorships.
3. Grant Writing & Proposal DevelopmentResearch, identify, and apply for grants from government agencies, foundations, and private organizations.Draft compelling grant proposals, sponsorship requests, and funding applications to secure financial support.
4. Fundraising Campaigns & EventsPlan and execute fundraising campaigns, charity events, and donor engagement initiatives.Leverage crowdfunding, digital fundraising, and social media campaigns to maximize outreach.
5. Budget & Financial OversightCollaborate with the finance team to develop and manage fundraising budgets.Ensure efficient utilization of funds and compliance with financial and regulatory guidelines.
6. Monitoring, Reporting & Impact MeasurementTrack, analyze, and report on fundraising performance, donor contributions, and campaign success.Present regular reports and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
7. Cross-Team CollaborationWork closely with the communications, programs, and finance teams to execute successful fundraising initiatives.Develop marketing materials and donor communication strategies to enhance fundraising efforts.

Graduate in any discipline. Minimum experience in fundraising. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and report writing. Knowledge of digital fundraising strategies, social media engagement, and crowdfunding platforms. Strong networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work independently and within a team, with a proactive and result-driven approach. Proficiency in fundraising software and donor management platforms.
