Schools Coordinator - Sewapuri (Varanasi)

As the Schools Coordinator for Akshar, you would be responsible for implementing the Akshar Education Model in the Government Schools of Sewapuri,Uttar Pradesh. This involves building and maintaining relations with school head and government teachers, training and supporting teachers on the Akshar toolkit, collaborating with the school head on activity planning, coordinating the Akshar Education Model implementation, supervising a team of 2-3 Schools Assistants, and coordinating vocational training activities within the schools. The goal is to transform government schools into sustainable communities, teaching underprivileged students how to earn a living, start a business, initiate development work in their communities, and heal their environment.

Candidate should possess Reading, writing and speaking proficiency of English and Reading, writing and speaking proficiency of Hindi. A post graduation in education/management/social sciences is preferred. Experience of at least 2 - 3 years in a school/teaching in a school/educational program/NGO is required.
