Application Engineer

The Application Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle and post-implementation phase. You will analyze customer requirements, design technical solutions, and ensure that our products are integrated seamlessly into the client's workflow. This role requires a blend of deep technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Design & Pre-Sales Support
• Design Engineering: Prepare detailed design calculations and technical specifications based on specific customer requirements and project site conditions.
• Equipment Selection: Lead the technical selection of equipment and components to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness for the client.
• Technical Submittals: Develop and compile comprehensive Technical Submittals for project approvals.
• Consultant Liaison: Act as the technical point of contact for sales teams to address and resolve "comments" or "queries" raised by consultants

Must have skills:

• Education Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience of 3 to 5 years in an Application Engineer capacity of similar
• Technical know-how of HVAC Systems

Responsibilities

• Heat load Calculations & Design in case of schedule not provided by the customer.
• Equipment selection / Cost Estimation / Quotation
• Follow up on Quotation.
• Preparing Technical Submittal.
• Preparation of Order Estimation sheet and getting it approved by Sales Manager/Sr.Manager.
• Preparation of Project file and handing over the file to Sales Coordinator.
• Get the specification from the contractors, based on the customer specification and the equipment schedule select fan models and quote based on price list & Cost Sheet.
• Prepare submittal based on the contract specification and submit to the contractor/ consultant for approval.
• Sending the order acknowledgement to customers.

Qualifications

• Graduation or Post Graduation in Mechanical Engineering
• Relevant exp. as an Application Engineer or similar roles
• Understanding of HVAC Systems, Heat Load Calculations, HVAC Design using AutoCAD or similar software
• Experience in Sales support - creating quotations and understanding of commercials
• Understanding of creating Technical submittals based on project specifications
• Good communications skills - written & verbal
