Alan is building a vertically integrated health partner that unites insurance and smart healthcare delivery into one seamless system. Our vision is to make prevention the new norm of care for all.
The position is open for an immediate starting date, for a six-month internship.
CTO Founder Associates support the CTO and Senior Alaners on top business priorities, such as unlocking new growth, driving alignment on strategy and building new processes/standards internally and externally. It is a unique chance to work on many tasks in a different and non traditional environment.
You will be highly involved in key challenges for Alan, and will be asked to support high added value tasks for Alan.
As such, you can't be exhaustive on the missions you will perform as a CTO FA, as you can be asked to help on almost any subject.
Possible projects include:
- Tech: Exploring new technologies and their applications for Alan
- Artificial Intelligence: Implementing internal solutions that leverage AI to optimize processes
- Strategy: Contributing to company vision, market analysis, and growth modelling
- Product: Identifying and exploring strategic opportunities
- Corporate & Governance: Supporting board packs, legal research, and public affairs
- Brand & Communication: Developing corporate presence at events and on social media
- Growth: Coordinating RFPs, supporting marketing and partnerships
- Recurring tasks: Coordinating the weekly internal communication, supporting the CTO with his weekly social posts, organizing the monthly event gathering all the Alaners, recruiting the next batch of FAs.

By the end of the internship period, the intern will have:

Created new processes and resources, and contributed innovative ideas to improve Founders Associates team efficiency and autonomy

Interacted with most of Alan's communities (Engineers, Product, Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Talent)

Contributed to at least one strategic company project (new product launch, AI model implementation, etc.).

Analytical sense and critical thinking: FAs possess strong abilities to frame the right questions, objectively analyze problems, and simulate possible outcomes.

Business and product sense: FAs need excellent understanding to think at the company level, assess cross-cutting impacts, and make sound decisions in ambiguous situations.

Execution and collaboration: The ability to orchestrate and direct people towards objectives is key, given the scope and timeline of work.

Versatility and education: given the scope of work, FAs should be able to jump from one topic to another with similar impact.

Organization, time management and autonomy: FAs must excel in managing projects precisely and reliably with minimal external assistance.

Effective communication: FAs interact with numerous Alaners daily, and therefore need to clearly express their needs, and inspire action in others.

Always looking for the extra mile: FAs are expected to deliver tasks quickly and well while proactively proposing new initiatives and anticipating future needs.

Growth mindset: you know how to ask for and receive feedback in order to grow as an FA in your early professional life.

Fluency in spoken and written English. All our communications are written and in English.
