Job Description

Primary Purpose of Role:

The Identity Security Analyst I supports the day-to-day operations of identity and access management processes across the organization. This role focuses on user access provisioning, Active Directory administration, and audit support while developing expertise in IAM tools. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in IAM concepts, a detail-oriented mindset, and a passion for learning and growing.

Key Responsibilities:

• User Access Management: Execute provisioning and deprovisioning requests using defined procedures and tools
• Active Directory Policy Administration: Follow established policies for managing users, groups, and permissions in Active Directory and Azure AD environments
• Access Reviews & Audit Support: Assist with audits by gathering access data and supporting documentation
• IAM Ticket Operations: Handle access tickets and requests in compliance with SLAs and documented processes
• Role-Based Access Support: Support developing and maintaining RBAC models and access templates aligned to business needs
• Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Follow established procedures to flag and escalate potential access issues
• Tool Exposure & Learning: Develop working knowledge of IAM tools.
• Documentation & Process Adherence: Adhere to and maintain standard operating procedures and documentation
• **Learning & Development:**Build foundational knowledge of IAM concepts, tools, and security practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related discipline
• Preferred certifications:
• CompTIA Security+
• Other Related Cyber Security Certifications

Experience:

• 1+ years of experience in IAM, IT support, or related security operations role
• Experience with IAM tools (SailPoint preferred)
• General knowledge of identity lifecycle management (joiner/mover/leaver processes)
• Exposure to audit and compliance frameworks (SOX, NIST, or similar)
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Interest in developing knowledge of Identity Security tools and processes
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
