Technical Associate-2

Key Responsibilities: • Tool Engineer responsible for Tools management control, Tools & Fixture Maintenance, Procurement, and Inventory maintenance.

• Resharpening and regrinding of cutting tools management

• Machine installation coordination and conducting machine trial.

• Purchase requisition / Purchase order and follow up with Vendor for on time delivery of tools.

• Trial material follow-up.

• Monthly report of Tools consumption / Tools Breakage / Tools Cost / Cost savings.

• Ensure 100% system adherence & Safety practices in Workplace.

• Should have knowledge and practices of process documents.

• Should have knowledge of tool room conventional machine, gear cutting tools hob, shaper, skiving cutter & broach tools sharpening and trouble shooting

• Kaizen on tool cost reduction

• Zero safety incident

• 3C / 5S Adherence

Competencies and Behaviours: • Knowledge in Manufacturing Process.

• Basic Knowledge of AM & FI pillar

• Initiating & Completion of Continuous Improvement projects

• Knowledge of TPM practices & IMS activities

• Corrective action for Tool failure & Tool idle loss.

• Novice / Intermediate level of proficiency in using of Microsoft tools

Qualifications: • Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent

Experience: • 3~5 years
