We are looking for high-potential, innovative, and a results oriented professional to join Amazon who can work in ambiguous situations and chart the way forward. By joining the Operational Excellence team for the Core Consumables Category, you will work with Category teams to improve the quality of catalog, drive brand outreach so that our customers can easily discover our products on the marketplace. This role requires working with business teams across the company to provide data driven support - key to the success of the category profitability and best in class customer experience. At the core of the position is passion for protecting Amazon's reputation, delivering par excellence Customer Experience and making it the preferred choice for millions of buyers.
Key job responsibilities
- Review Amazon catalog for content quality (internal Data quality IDQ) based on pre-defined guidelines & co-ordinate with internal team to fix the issues for better customer experience.
- Document processes & regularly update existing SOPs. Review & suggest SOP changes required if any to the team basis input from Category managers
- Handle various sets of daily, weekly and monthly business reports
- Resolve conflicts on attribute mismatches for better inventory classification and handling and resolve tickets on policy conflicts like returnable
- Improve the discoverability of ASINs by driving leaf nodes coverage, reduce misclassifications and thereby increase browse node classification accuracy
- Be the subject matter expert on IDQ and lead & help category POCs on their issues related to catalog quality.
- Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon's data resources and know how, when, and which to use and which not to use.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience with Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic computer business applications such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
