This is an 11-month Direct Contract role with Amazon, on Amazon's payroll.
Key job responsibilities
• Perform annotation-related tasks for ML data processing areas including audio, image, video, and text files by working on defined sets of instructions to collect accurate ground truth data for product development
• Execute repetitive exercises based on dynamic instructions while maintaining high quality standards and using internal software tools and data capture systems provided by the team
• Apply strong language skills, grammar knowledge, and linguistic rules to ensure generated text adheres to proper grammar, syntax, and appropriate language usage
• Understand and follow procedures, guidelines, and compliance requirements for new tasks and releases while participating in data collection activities when scripts and instructions are provided
• Meet daily productivity and quality targets by tracking task completion status using recommended tools and providing individual status reports
• Maintain high internal quality of processes by performing quality audits and verification activities
• Capture and report results accurately, communicate issues effectively, and escalate failures promptly through established channels
• Raise all failures, doubts, and queries related to execution in the portal and close them according to defined SLAs, while sharing relevant information with stakeholders to help solve issues
• Own daily targets and manage dependencies, both internal and external, to ensure timely completion
• Adhere to confidentiality and compliance requirements to ensure zero risk to customer data and Amazon
• Help test new SOPs and ML data tools while providing specific and timely feedback to streamline existing processes and help the team achieve consistent results with high quality
• Comply with organizational processes on a daily basis while adhering to established productivity and quality baselines
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Experience and familiarity with US culture
