The QA Engineer II will design and execute comprehensive manual and automated tests, maintain Playwright automation coverage, identify quality risks early, and provide evidence-based release-readiness recommendations. The role requires hands-on experience with Agile delivery, API and database testing, automation development, and the responsible use of AI-assisted testing tools. <h2>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</h2> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Own testing activities for assigned user stories and small features throughout the software development lifecycle.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Review requirements and acceptance criteria for clarity, completeness, testability, dependencies, and potential quality risks.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Design and execute risk-based tests covering functional, regression, integration, exploratory, negative, boundary, usability, and compatibility scenarios.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Develop, maintain, debug, and execute Playwright automated tests using JavaScript or TypeScript.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Apply maintainable automation practices, including reusable functions, fixtures, page objects, test-data management, and reliable assertions.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Perform UI, API, database, and end-to-end testing for assigned functionality.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Maintain regression suites, test data, test documentation, and traceability between requirements and test coverage.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and investigate failed automated test runs.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Distinguish between application defects, test-data issues, environment failures, and automation defects.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Report clear and reproducible defects and participate actively in defect triage.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Validate fixes and provide evidence-based input on release readiness.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Use AI-assisted tools to support test design, test-data generation, automation development, defect analysis, and test-result summarization.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Independently verify the accuracy, relevance, security, and completeness of AI-generated output.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Participate actively in sprint planning, estimation, refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to resolve requirement gaps and improve testability.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Identify repeatable manual tests that are suitable for automation.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Mentor Associate QA Engineers on test execution, defect reporting, documentation, and automation practices.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proactively communicate risks, dependencies, blockers, and changes in testing scope.</li> </ul> <h2> </h2> <h2>SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS</h2> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Typically, 1–3 years of software quality assurance or quality engineering experience.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong manual testing, exploratory testing, and test-design capabilities.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Hands-on experience with Playwright or a comparable web automation framework.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Working proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience in testing web applications, APIs, databases, and integrated systems.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Knowledge of tools such as Postman, Swagger, or REST API clients.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with SQL and database validation.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with Git, pull-request workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated test execution.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
