Director, Delivery (Banking & Financial Services)

Role Overview

Anblicks is seeking an accomplished Director, Delivery to lead our banking and financial\nservices delivery portfolio. The role leads large Data and AI transformation programs for\nbanks, lenders, insurers, and capital markets clients, and is accountable for outcomes,\nmargin, and client trust across that portfolio. We are looking for a leader who delivers the way modern teams now can: AI-\assisted engineering,\agentic workflows, and reusable data products built into how work gets done, not added on\nachterward. The Director will make that the standard across BFSI engagements, and will use it\nto raise delivery quality, shorten time to value, and open new growth with existing and new\nclients. The Director partners with client executives, works closely with Sales, Presales, and\nArchitecture, and builds the leaders who run engagements day to day.

Key Responsibilities

Transformation delivery and portfolio ownership

• Own end-\end delivery for a multi--client BFSI portfolio across data platforms, regulatory and\nrisk reporting, integrations, and AI-\driven solutions.
• Drive transformational initiatives from roadmap to production, keeping scope, timeline,\nquality, and business outcomes on track.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client CxOs and senior stakeholders, shaping technology\nroadmaps that align to business strategy and regulatory priorities.
• Establish clear value measures with clients at the start of each engagement and report\nagainst them throughout.

AI-\native and agentic delivery

• Embed AI and agentic AI across the delivery lifecycle, including requirements, design, code\ngeneration, testing, migration, documentation, and operations, with measurable\nproductivity gains.
• Partner with Engineering and Architecture to adopt agentic delivery frameworks, human-\nth-the-loop controls, and engineering practices that scale across accounts.
• Define and track delivery efficiency metrics such as cycle time, rework, effort per\noutcome, and run cost, and use them to reset estimates, pricing, and team shape.
• Redesign delivery team structures and roles for AI-\assisted work and bring clients along on\nthe change.

Data, AI, and process intelligence

• Guide clients on modern data architecture, including lakehouse and cloud data platforms,\ndata products, semantic and ontology layers, governance, and data quality.
• Lead engagements that apply data products and agentic AI to process intelligence, turning\noperational and transaction data into automation and better decisions in areas such as\nlending, onboarding, KYC and AML, claims, servicing, and regulatory reporting.
• Review architecture and design to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with\nBFSI regulatory and model risk expectations.

Growth and client expansion

• Identify and shape expansion opportunities within existing accounts, and support new pursuits\nthrough solution design, RFP responses, and executive presentations.
• Build and maintain BFSI solutions, accelerators, playbooks, reference architectures, and\nreusable assets that strengthen Anblicks' position in the sector.
• Represent Anblicks with clients, partners, and industry forums as a credible BFSI Data and AI\nvoice.

Governance, financials, and risk

• Run portfolio governance covering P&L, delivery margin, forecasting, risk management,\nstakeholder reporting, and performance tracking.
• Govern global delivery across onsite, nearshore, and offshore teams with operational\ndiscipline and a focus on client satisfaction.
• Hold delivery teams to consistent standards for security, compliance, and engagement health.

People and leadership

• Mentor and grow delivery managers, POD leads, and architects, and build a strong bench of\nBFSI delivery leaders.
• Work with Talent and Engineering leadership on hiring, skill development, and capability\nbuilding in AI-\native delivery.

• 15+\nyears in IT services or consulting, with deep experience in Data Platforms, Analytics, and AI-\ndriven transformation.
• Proven delivery leadership in banking and financial services, having executed key\ntransformational engagements focused on data and AI for banks, lenders, insurers, or\ncapital markets firms.
• Track record managing multi--million-$-dollar programs and multi--client portfolios, with\nP&L and margin accountability.
• Hands-\on understanding of modern data architectures, including cloud data platforms,\ndata products, governance, and integration patterns.
• Practical experience applying AI and agentic AI to engineering and business process\nefficiency, with results you can point to, and familiarity with how AI-\enabled delivery\nmethods differ from traditional ones.
• Experience leading global, cross--functional teams across onsite, nearshore, and offshore\nmodels.
• Consulting orientation, including deal shaping, executive presentations, and CxO-\level\nengagement.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution discipline, and to lead change in teams\nand clients.
