UI/UX Designer
Anthrobyte
Description
About Anthrobyte
Anthrobyte is an enterprise AI company helping organisations move from experimentation to production-grade AI adoption. We believe successful AI transformation begins with understanding people, systems, and decision-making before technology. Our work spans enterprise products, AI workflows, digital platforms, and organisational transformation, designing solutions that make complex systems understandable, trustworthy, and valuable.
As our products and client engagements continue to grow, we are looking for a UI/UX Designer who enjoys turning complexity into clarity and is excited to build products that solve real enterprise problems.
What You'll Do
This is not a role where you will simply execute screens from handed-over wireframes.
You will work directly with the Head of Design to shape Anthrobyte's digital experiences, from our company website to enterprise AI platforms used by global organisations. You'll help translate our brand into intuitive product experiences while learning how enterprise products are designed, validated, and shipped.
Many of our products deal with complex workflows, operational intelligence, large datasets, dashboards, AI insights, and information-heavy experiences. Your role will be to transform this complexity into interfaces that are clear, accessible, and enjoyable to use.
If you're curious, enjoy solving difficult design problems, and want to grow beyond visual design into product thinking, this role will provide that opportunity.
Requirements
What You'll Make
Product Design
▪ Design user interfaces for enterprise web applications and AI-powered products.
▪ Create wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mock-ups, prototypes, and production-ready designs.
▪ Design intuitive workflows for complex enterprise use cases involving large amounts of information.
▪ Translate business requirements into user-centred digital experiences.
▪ Work closely with developers throughout implementation to ensure design quality.
Website & Digital Experience
▪ Design and continuously improve the Anthrobyte website.
▪ Translate our evolving brand language into engaging digital experiences.
▪ Balance visual aesthetics with usability, accessibility, and business objectives.
▪ Conduct research to understand the expectations and behaviours of enterprise decision-makers and B2B users.
User Experience
▪ Apply UX principles throughout the design process.
▪ Conduct competitor analysis, usability evaluations, and user research where appropriate.
▪ Design information architecture that helps users understand complex systems with minimal effort.
▪ Apply established usability principles including Nielsen's Heuristics, UX Laws, accessibility guidelines, and interaction design best practices.
Design Systems
▪ Contribute to Anthrobyte's design system and component library.
▪ Maintain consistency across products, websites, and future digital experiences.
▪ Document components and design patterns for developers and future designers.
AI-Enabled Design
▪ Use modern AI tools to improve research, ideation, prototyping, documentation, and design workflows.
▪ Explore new ways AI can improve productivity while maintaining high design quality and human-centred thinking.
What We're Looking For
We're less interested in knowing every tool and more interested in how you think.
You enjoy solving problems, ask thoughtful questions, and care about creating experiences that make people's work easier.
You bring:
▪ Up to 2 years of experience in UI, UX, Product Design, or related fields.
▪ A portfolio demonstrating your design thinking and problem-solving process.
▪ Strong proficiency in Figma.
▪ Good understanding of user-centred design principles.
▪ Familiarity with UX Laws, Nielsen's Heuristics, information architecture, responsive design, and accessibility.
▪ Ability to work with data-heavy interfaces, dashboards, workflows, and information-rich products.
▪ Understanding of typography, hierarchy, spacing, layout systems, and visual communication.
▪ Comfort collaborating with developers and cross-functional teams.
▪ Strong attention to detail and willingness to iterate based on feedback.
Bonus Points
▪ Framer experience
▪ Experience designing SaaS or enterprise applications
▪ Motion design or micro-interactions
▪ Design systems experience
▪ AI-assisted design workflows
▪ Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
▪ Experience with usability testing or user interviews
How We Work
Experience matters, but mindset matters more.
We work in a fast-moving 0 to 1 environment where priorities can evolve quickly. Some days you'll design polished interfaces, while others you'll help structure a product, create diagrams, prepare client presentations, or prototype entirely new ideas.
We're looking for someone who:
▪ Is naturally curious.
▪ Learns quickly and enjoys continuous improvement.
▪ Takes ownership instead of waiting for instructions.
▪ Is comfortable working through ambiguity.
▪ Accepts feedback positively and uses it to improve.
▪ Pays attention to detail.
▪ Enjoys solving difficult design challenges.
▪ Wants to build products with real business impact.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us over the long term. As Anthrobyte grows, you'll have the opportunity to expand beyond interface design into product strategy, enterprise UX, AI experience design, and eventually mentor and lead future designers.
What You'll Gain
This role offers far more than producing screens. You'll gain exposure to:
▪ Enterprise AI product design
▪ B2B SaaS platforms
▪ Product strategy
▪ Design systems at scale
▪ Service Design principles
▪ Systems thinking
▪ Enterprise UX research
▪ AI transformation projects
▪ Human-centred AI experiences
▪ Working directly with founders and enterprise clients
If your ambition is to become a Senior Product Designer or UX Lead in the coming years, you'll gain experience here that few early-career roles can offer.
Why Join Us
▪ Direct mentorship from the Head of Design.
▪ Opportunity to work on real enterprise AI products.
▪ Ownership from day one.
▪ High autonomy with continuous guidance.
▪ A collaborative, learning-focused design culture.
▪ Exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies and enterprise transformation.
▪ Opportunity to grow into senior product design responsibilities as the company scales.
How We Hire
We keep our process simple and respectful.
▪ Portfolio review.
▪ Introductory conversation.
▪ Live design discussion around a practical product challenge.
▪ Final conversation with the Design Lead.
We don't believe in lengthy interview loops or unpaid assignments. We'd rather understand how you think, collaborate, and approach solving meaningful problems.
