Email Marketing Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Email Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. As the Email Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for the strategy, execution, scaling, and optimization of all email marketing campaigns. You will take full ownership of the email marketing channel and play a key role in driving engagement, conversions, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is data-driven, has hands-on experience building and scaling email programs from scratch, and possesses a deep understanding of email marketing best practices, deliverability, automation, and compliance. You should be comfortable working independently, making decisions, and continuously optimizing performance.

Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Planning Develop and execute a comprehensive email marketing strategy aligned with overall business objectives. Build and scale email campaigns focused on engagement, retention, and revenue growth. Define and manage audience segmentation strategies to enable highly personalized communication. Establish and monitor KPIs (open rates, CTR, conversions, deliverability, revenue impact). Plan and conduct A/B testing on subject lines, copy, layouts, CTAs, and send times. Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data and insights. Stay up to date with the latest email marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
2. Campaign Execution Own the end-to-end execution of email campaigns—from ideation and content creation to deployment and analysis. Create and optimize email copy for newsletters, promotional campaigns, transactional emails, and triggered workflows. Design and manage automation workflows such as onboarding, lifecycle, re-engagement, and behavioral triggers. Build, maintain, and scale email lists while ensuring data accuracy and hygiene. Ensure compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other applicable regulations. Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and marketing stakeholders to deliver high-quality campaigns.
3. Technical Expertise & Deliverability a) Hands-on experience with Email Service Providers (ESPs) such as:Mailchimp, SendGrid, Amazon SES, MailWizz, HubSpot (or similar) b) Experience with advanced email infrastructure, including:SMTP systemsIP warming strategiesSender reputation managementDeliverability monitoring and optimization c) Strong understanding and implementation of:SPF, DKIM, DMARCBounce handling, spam filtering, inbox placement d) Experience setting up and managing email marketing systems from scratch. e) Familiarity with bulk email best practices and regulations. f) Proficiency in HTML and CSS for email templates is a plus. g) Experience with Postal will be a strong advantage.
4. Analytics, CRM & Optimization Analyze campaign performance using dashboards and reports. Use insights to continuously improve engagement, conversions, and deliverability. Integrate email systems with CRM platforms for better targeting and lifecycle management. Track user behavior and funnel performance to improve segmentation and personalization.
5. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with the marketing team to align email campaigns with overall goals and targets. Communicate results, insights, and optimization plans clearly to stakeholders. Coordinate with technical and product teams when needed to support integrations and data flows.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory). 3+ years of proven experience in email marketing with measurable success.
