Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive, validate, and analyze financial data required for the preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare financial statements for various investment structures, including:
  • Hedge Funds
  • Private Equity Funds
  • Real Estate Entities
  • Management Companies (ManCo)
  • Other investment structures
• Prepare and review financial statements under multiple accounting frameworks, including:
  • IFRS
  • US GAAP
  • UK GAAP
  • Luxembourg GAAP
  • Canadian GAAP
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Independently resolve accounting and reporting queries raised by:
  • Onshore Teams
  • Clients
  • Auditors
  • Directors and Senior Stakeholders
• Maintain high-quality deliverables while adhering to strict reporting deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

• CA / CPA / ACCA
• MBA (Finance)
• CFA
• Any specialized qualification or certification in Accounting or Finance

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Financial Reporting.
• Prior experience in Hedge Fund Financial Reporting will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to IFRS and/or US GAAP financial reporting is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in manual financial statement preparation is preferred over reliance on automated reporting tools.

Skills Required

• Strong technical accounting knowledge with a solid understanding of financial statements.
• Good knowledge of capital markets and derivative instruments.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
• Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and changing business requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Finance professional with a strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting standards.
• Ability to interact confidently with clients, auditors, and senior stakeholders.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in hedge funds, private equity, fund administration, or investment management industry preferred.
