Legal Counsel

This is a hands-on, commercially focused role supporting the General Counsel with several key elements including:

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a range of complex commercial agreements
• Delivering legal and strategic advice to different areas of the business on a variety of matters ranging from financial regulation and the payments ecosystem, contracts, negotiations, documentation, client issues, employment, compliance, IP, IT, marketing and data protection
• Supporting the commercial teams and wider business in discussions with customers, partners and suppliers
• Identifying legal and regulatory risks related to the introduction of new products and expansion into new markets
• Helping to identify, prepare and deliver training to the business on relevant legal and commercial issues
• Delivering continuous improvement in operating practices and processes, identifying inefficiencies and improvement

• You know our domain: Expertise and experience in financial services particularly regulation and licensing processes for the payments industry, with the ability to keep up to date with and share relevant legal and market developments.
