Network Support Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Network Support Engineer to support the design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure at APPWRK IT SOLUTIONS. This role is ideal for freshers or early-career professionals who have completed networking courses and are eager to build hands-on experience under senior guidance.Key Responsibilities:Assist in configuring, installing, and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access pointsMonitor network performance and report issues to senior engineersTroubleshoot basic network connectivity, latency, and performance issuesSupport implementation of LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networksAssist in network security tasks such as access control, firewall rules, and basic compliance checksMaintain network documentation including diagrams, IP addressing, and configuration recordsWork closely with senior network engineers and other IT teams to support ongoing projectsFollow standard operating procedures and best practices for network operationsLearn and stay updated with new networking tools, technologies, and protocols

Educational background in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field Completed Networking course / training (CCNA, Networking Fundamentals, or equivalent) Basic understanding of:TCP/IP, DNS, DHCPLAN, WAN, VLAN concepts Routing & Switching fundamentals Network security basics Familiarity with routers, switches, and firewalls (lab or internship experience acceptable) Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Willingness to learn and take guidance from senior team members
