Position Overview

As a QA Automation & Manual Test Engineer at ASAR Gaming Network, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our applications. You will work on both manual and automated testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and solve testing challenges. The ideal candidate is passionate about both automation and manual testing, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a keen eye for detail.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for applications across multiple platforms.
• Execute manual test cases to verify functionality and identify defects in applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, technical specifications, and business priorities.
• Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and test cases to cover functional and non-functional requirements.
• Break down complex testing problems and create solutions using tools like Cucumber, Selenium, and Perfecto (or similar automation tools).
• Ensure thorough coverage of edge cases, usability, and overall system reliability.
• Perform API testing and work with data sources (REST, JSON) to ensure accurate data flow and integration.
• Track and document defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
• Advocate for test-driven development, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software to clients.
• Provide feedback to improve product performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Experience/Skills Required

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in both automation and manual testing.
• Proven experience with software-based automated testing using Cucumber, Selenium, Perfecto, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience working with APIs, data sources (REST, JSON), and databases.
• Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a client-facing environment.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
