External Job Description
Job Purpose - To ensure uninterrupted availability of sanitaryware products by managing procurement, supplier relationships, inventory planning, cost optimization, quality compliance, and supply chain risk mitigation while supporting business growth and customer service targets
Business Responsibility Areas
Business objectives
1.Procurement & Sourcing
- Material procurement execution as per planning for sanitaryware products and components.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial agreements.
- Ensure timely placement of purchase orders based on demand and inventory requirements.
2.Supplier Management
- Monitor supplier performance on delivery, quality, cost, and service.
- Conduct periodic supplier reviews and performance evaluations.
- Maintain strong relationships with domestic and international vendors
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure procured products meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with Quality teams for inspections, audits, and complaint resolutions.
Cost Optimization
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and value engineering.
- Monitor commodity and market trends impacting procurement costs.
- Improve procurement efficiency and working capital management.
New Product and Current Product Development
- Identify and develop capable suppliers for new sanitaryware products, accessories, and components.
- Monitor development timelines and proactively address sourcing or supply risks to meet launch schedules.
Support value engineering and cost optimization during product development stages
