Role Overview:

As an SDE I - Front-End at Astra, you'll play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the way businesses approach cybersecurity. You'll collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to develop intuitive and efficient web-based dashboards that empower our users to navigate and secure their digital assets seamlessly.

This is a hybrid role with base location as Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate project requirements into code.
• Develop consistent and user-friendly web interfaces using Next.js, React, and shadcn/ui to enhance the overall user experience.
• Utilize TypeScript for enhanced development workflows, ensuring code quality and reliability.
• Implement designs using shadcn/ui design kit (built on Radix UI) for modern UI components and utilize Tailwind CSS to ensure a cohesive visual experience.
• Integrate state management libraries such as Tanstack Query (React Query)/Redux for efficient data fetching and state management.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices, code reviews, and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Optimize web performance and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices, security standards, and coding guidelines.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of work experience with Next.js or React.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proficiency in Next.js, React, and CSS (particularly Tailwind CSS).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
