NPD Engineer (5916)

Responsibility :

1. Responsible for all the New Product Industrialization (NPI)activities of PCR plant
2. End to end coordination on NPI with all stake holders (Japanese Advisor/R&D, Plant Team, SCM , Procurement etc.,)
3. Technical activities related to NPI –Plant Spec preparation based on spec from R&D,Japan, Following all the process , link the product to process parameters and achieve all the product and testing requirements as per R&D standard
4. Timely releases of all the new products by working on all key enablers
5. Ensuring new articles meeting all quality, defect and uniformity standards along with production efficiency
6. Documentation of all the data as per R&D and Plant quality requirements
7. Working OE project as it comes
8. Prepare Check Tire for each Product during introduction and during any change and maintain the Sections and analysis for future review and comparative analysis.
9. Supporting process trouble shooting and handling process related issues as required
10. Supporting all the external audits
11. Supporting plant ramp-up/expansion projects
12. Weekly Schedule to be prepared and discuss with Plant PPC & SCM and each Process and coordinate and execute the NPD activities as per timeline provided by Marketing and YRC.
13. Specification Management and related Yokohama Standard Management.
14. Support external audits (IATF 16949, BIS, OEM customer audits) as per YRC plant quality requirements related Product Specification.
