Job Requirements (Skill Sets)

• Hands-on experience in Industrial Automation.
• Knowledge of PLC systems such as Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.
• Experience in designing and commissioning of HMI and SCADA systems.
• Basic knowledge of OPC communication.
• Basic knowledge of SQL/Historian databases.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet, etc.
• Ability to handle projects independently.
• Good customer handling skills.
• Validation Knowledge

Key Responsibilities

• Committed to timely and error-free delivery of systems.
• Responsible for handling two units located near each other.
• Required to visit locations as per the customer's requirements and schedule.
• Responsible for making necessary changes in the L2 system in case of any PLC/HMI upgrades.
• Conduct periodic health checks of all live systems and report to managers.
• Attend support calls from application users and provide first-level support.
• Perform health monitoring of the overall application as per the predefined checklist.
• Ensure timely resolution of problem tickets raised by customers.
• In case of critical issues, escalate immediately to the Technical Lead or Principal Engineer, ensure resolution, and inform all stakeholders.
• Maintain the issue tracker sheet and ensure quarterly application backups are taken.
• Provide documentation for critical issues, including incident reports (RCA/CAPA) and impact assessments.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on critical development roadblocks.
• Responsible for minor tag additions/deletions and basic graphic development in the L2 system (Category 4 & 5), along with updating qualification documents.
