Associate Manager

The Associate Manager - Mechanical Recycling will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the mechanical recycling processes at Attero, with a focus on furnace operations and material recovery. This role requires a strong background in metallurgy and mechanical systems, with a particular emphasis on furnace operation. The ideal candidate will also be proficient in MS Excel for process monitoring and reporting, and have excellent communication skills in English. Key Responsibilities: Mechanical Recycling Operations: Supervise and manage the mechanical recycling process, focusing on maximizing efficiency and production. Identify and resolve operational issues to improve the performance of mechanical recycling systems. Metallurgy Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of metallurgy to optimize the extraction of metals (both ferrous and non-ferrous) from e-waste. Conduct metallurgical analysis to enhance the yield and quality of recovered materials. Recommend process modifications based on technical analysis and industry best practices. Process Monitoring and Reporting: Use MS Excel for data analysis, generating reports on recycling performance, material recovery rates, and furnace operation metrics. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvements to ensure the effectiveness of mechanical recycling processes. Prepare and present detailed reports for senior management, highlighting key trends, challenges, and optimization opportunities. Team Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality control, and operations to drive process improvements. Provide guidance and training to junior team members on best practices and technical aspects of mechanical recycling. Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with internal teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in mechanical recycling, metals recovery, or a related industry, with a strong focus on furnace operations.
