Position Summary

The Content Specialist will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing product listings across Amazon, eBay, and Shopify. This role requires strong written English, excellent attention to detail, comfort working with product data, and the ability to manage multiple SKUs accurately within structured workflows.

The ideal candidate will ensure that product listings are accurate, SEO-optimized, marketplace-compliant, conversion-focused, and consistent across all sales channels.

This position requires someone who can work closely with U.S.-based teams and communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently.

Key Responsibilities

Listing Creation & Optimization

• Create, edit, and maintain product listings across Amazon, eBay, and Shopify.
• Write clear, persuasive, and platform-optimized product titles, bullet points, and descriptions.
• Apply e-commerce SEO best practices to improve organic visibility and product ranking.
• Ensure proper product categorization, variation structure, backend keywords, and listing formatting.
• Maintain consistency in product content across all marketplaces and internal systems.

Data Accuracy & Marketplace Compliance

• Maintain accurate product specifications, dimensions, features, compatibility details, and bundle information.
• Ensure listings comply with marketplace policies, content standards, and formatting requirements.
• Review suppressed, incomplete, or underperforming listings and resolve content-related issues.
• Identify listing errors, missing data, duplicate content, or inconsistencies and correct them promptly.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, marketing, and operations teams to gather required product information.
• Collect and verify product specifications, images, videos, bundle components, compliance details, and other listing assets.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams to ensure listings are completed accurately and on time.
• Support marketplace execution by helping ensure product content is accurate, complete, and ready for sale.

Content Auditing & Maintenance

• Perform regular content audits to identify errors and improve listing quality.
• Monitor listing performance and recommend content improvements when needed.
• Maintain organized tracking sheets, workflow documentation, and content update records.
• Follow internal processes carefully to ensure work is completed accurately and consistently.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience working with U.S.-based companies, U.S. clients, or U.S.-focused e-commerce teams is mandatory.
• 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce content, marketplace listings, catalog management, or a related role.
• Strong professional communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with U.S.-based teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy standards.
• Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals for e-commerce listings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to manage multiple SKUs, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable learning internal systems, marketplace tools, and workflow platforms.
• Ability to follow structured processes while also identifying opportunities for improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, eBay Seller Hub, or Shopify Admin.
• Familiarity with A+ Content, variation listings, eBay templates, and marketplace listing standards.
• Strong research skills for validating product information and specifications.
• Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Marketing, Communications, E-commerce, Business, or a related field.
• Knowledge of musical instruments, pro audio equipment, or music accessories is a plus but not required.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.
• India time zone schedule: 2:00 PM–11:00 PM IST or 3:00 PM–12:00 AM IST, based on business requirements.
• Must be available to overlap with U.S. business hours as required.
