Procurement Engineer

Autoprint is a leading manufacturer of printing and packaging machinery, known for innovation, quality, and customer-centric solutions. We are expanding our team and seeking a skilled Procurement Engineer to support our growing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for procurement of materials and components for manufacturing operations
• Evaluate and select vendors based on price, quality, and delivery timelines
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Conduct inward quality checks in coordination with the quality team
• Maintain and update procurement records in ERP systems
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize procurement strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, design, and quality
• Vendor development and relationship management
• Willing to travel for vendor visits, audits, and negotiations

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Diploma (DME) or Bachelor's Degree (BE) in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in material procurement in the manufacturing industry
• Experience in inward quality checking is preferred
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Willingness to travel as required
• Experience in cost reduction initiatives and vendor management is an added advantage
