Junior Network Engineer

Bacancy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Network Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will assist in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network systems to ensure seamless connectivity, security, and reliability across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Configure, install, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity or configuration issues to minimize downtime. Perform software and firmware updates on servers, routers, firewalls, and other network devices. Ensure network speed, availability, and reliability through consistent performance monitoring. Collaborate with IT professionals to identify system needs and implement effective network solutions. Install and maintain security software and firewalls to protect the organization's network. Maintain an inventory of spare parts and manage preventive maintenance programs. Administer and manage G Suite (Google Workspace) Admin Console, including user accounts and permissions. Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for internal reference. Support senior network engineers and IT management in infrastructure upgrades and network projects.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 2–3 years of hands-on experience in network administration or IT infrastructure.
