Sector Expert (Civil)

Role Overview

The Sector Expert (Civil) will be responsible for providing technical expertise, supervision, and quality assurance in civil engineering works, particularly in railway and highway infrastructure projects. The role involves on-site execution, monitoring, and coordination with project stakeholders to ensure adherence to project timelines, safety norms, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

· · Oversee and supervise civil works at site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, designs, and technical specifications.

· · Conduct surveys, measurements, and alignment checks using Total Station and related survey equipment.

· · Prepare and review civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD; provide necessary inputs for design modifications.

· · Ensure adherence to construction methodologies, safety protocols, and quality assurance practices.

· · Monitor progress of works, prepare daily/weekly site reports, and escalate issues requiring resolution.

· · Liaise with contractors, consultants, and client representatives to resolve site-related technical issues.

· · Assist in project documentation, measurement verification, and billing support as required.

· · Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and site supervisors.

· · Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory) · · Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
