Project Coordinator | Water Conservation

Role Overview:

The Project Coordinator – Impact Assessment & Evaluation is responsible for assessing the effectiveness, outcomes, and impact of implemented projects. The role involves conducting field-level evaluations, collecting and analysing data, and preparing comprehensive reports for internal teams, donors, and other stakeholders. The incumbent will work closely with field teams and communities to gather insights, measure project outcomes, and support evidence-based decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, field engagement, and the ability to translate data into meaningful reports.

Project Coordinator – Impact Assessment & Evaluation - Job Description:

Conduct field-level impact assessments and evaluations of ongoing and completed projects

Design and implement data collection tools, surveys, and evaluation frameworks

Collect, verify, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from field activities

Assess project performance against defined indicators, outcomes, and objectives

Prepare detailed evaluation reports, case studies, and impact documentation

Support baseline, midline, and endline assessments of projects

Coordinate with field teams to ensure accurate and timely data collection

Develop and maintain formats, tools, and systems for impact tracking and reporting

Present findings, insights, and recommendations to Program Managers and stakeholders

Support proposal development by providing data, evidence, and impact metrics

Ensure proper documentation, photo evidence, and data backup for all evaluated projects

Undertake field visits regularly to validate data and understand ground realities

Contribute to learning, program improvement, and knowledge-sharing initiatives

Attend to any other tasks assigned by the Program Manager as per organizational needs

Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate/Postgraduate (preferably MSW, Development Studies, Statistics, or relevant field)

3–6 years of proven experience in monitoring, evaluation, research, or impact assessment roles

Experience in watershed, environmental, or rural development projects is preferred

Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and report writing

Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis tools

Good understanding of evaluation frameworks (baseline, endline, indicators, etc.)

Excellent communication and documentation skills in local language and English

Willingness to travel extensively for field assessments

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical mindset
