Looker Development – Senior Programmer Analyst

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Looker Development Engineer as a Senior Programmer Analyst. Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Looker and Looker Studio. Build and maintain LookML models, views, explores, and derived tables. Translate business requirements and KPIs into clear, reusable Looker models. Write and optimize complex SQL queries (primarily on BigQuery). Ensure dashboard performance optimization and query efficiency. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define metrics, dimensions, and KPIs. Perform basic Looker administration tasks (content management, access permissions). Support version control (Git) for Looker development. Troubleshoot data discrepancies and visualization issues. Contribute to documentation and best practices for BI development.

Experience should have 3 years to 5 years Business Intelligence (BI) developer by using Google Looker. Strong hands-on experience with Google Looker / Looker Studio. Solid understanding of LookML, dimensions, measures, explores. Strong proficiency in ANSI SQL. Experience with BigQuery or other cloud data warehouses. Good understanding of dimensional data modeling (Star / Snowflake). Ability to convert business questions into analytical dashboards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills for working with business and technical teams. Knowledge of Python for advanced analytics. Understanding on the SDLC. Understanding on the Agile methodologies. Communication with customer and producing the Daily status report.
