Electrical Technician

Boson motors is a start up in EV space. We are working on solving farming/agricultural automation problems with robust EVs.
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician with 2 to 4 years of experience in EV manufacturing or automotive electrical systems. The ideal candidate will support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electric vehicle components and systems.

Key Responsibilities :

 Assist in the assembly and integration of EV electrical systems including wiring harnesses, battery packs, power electronics, and charging units.
  Execute torquing operations as per torque specifications on electrical fasteners, bus bars, and terminals.
  Perform precision crimping of terminals and connectors for wiring harnesses and battery assemblies.
  Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting on electrical components and systems.
  Read and interpret electrical schematics, SOP's, and technical manuals.
  Support in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical subsystems in vehicles.
  Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.
  Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
  Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  Document all maintenance and repair activities.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

      Diploma/BE in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
  2–4 years of hands-on experience in electrical work within automotive or EV manufacturing.
  Strong understanding of DC/AC systems, high-voltage systems, and battery management.
  Familiarity with tools like multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment.
  Experience working with wiring harnesses, PCB boards, connectors, and electrical enclosures.
  Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  Experience in EV startups or battery pack assembly is a plus.
  Knowledge of CAN communication and EV charging standards is a bonus
