Job Title: AI Engineer

Experience: 2+ years of professional experience as an AI Engineering or Data Scientist

• We're looking for an AI engineer interested in working with pioneers in the AI fields to join the team building our AI solutions group.

Roles & responsibilities:

• Help us build industry-defining AI products.
• Develop the data pipelines that will be ingested by our AI for both training and production.
• Be responsible for taking concepts all the way from ideation to delivery.
• Contribute to software design and architecture.
• Document and demonstrate the solutions you come up with to the team along the way.
• Create & maintain the AI development process, as well as the infrastructure it runs on with the team (determine specs, standards and the coding itself to get the job done).
• Ensure your code is clean, secure, easy to read and maintainable.
• Proactively look to continuously improve on the solutions you build.

Requirements

Requirement:

• You're inquisitive and comfortable both contributing to ground-breaking research, while at the same time delivering commercial solutions.
• You have direct experience building AI / ML solutions.
• You're already a great developer with deep familiarity in Python and Python tools.
• Experience with languages like R, Scala, Java and Go are also advantageous.
• You have experience using one of more of the following deep learning frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Theano or equivalent.
• You'll have a deep knowledge of statistics and probability, and understand which models work best for different use cases.
• You're inquisitive and a self-starter. You love learning, solving problems outside of your comfort zone, starting new things and taking them. through to production, all the while learning from your mistakes.
• You enjoy collaborating with and supporting a wide range of peers and mentors.
• You set a high bar for your own work (both how it works, and how it looks).
• You have a drive to continually improve processes, code quality and how your team works.
• You have a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Cognitive Science, Computer Engineering or STEM.
• You're interested in building secure systems and platforms, and have knowledge of relevant security standards.
• You understand the importance of data in effectively creating AI, and have knowledge of concepts and tools (e.g. Apache Spark, Hadoop and Cassandra).
• You have deep knowledge of the entire ML Ops development lifecycle.
• You have practical experience serving as an AI expert within a technical team.
