Job Title: Software Engineer

Experience: 2+ years of professional software development experience

Roles & responsibilities:

• Help us create industry-defining products.
• Be responsible for taking concepts all the way from ideation to delivery.
• Contribute to software design and architecture.
• Document and demonstrate the solutions you come up with to the team along the way.
• Prepare and install (determine specs, standards and the coding itself to get the job done).
• Ensure your code is clean, secure, easy to read and maintainable.
• Proactively look to continuously improve on the solutions you build.

Requirements

Requirements:

• You're already a great developer with deep familiarity with Python and well-versed in engineering best practices, including version control, test-driven development and continuous integration
• You're inquisitive and a self-starter. You love learning, solving problems outside of your comfort zone, starting new things and taking them through to production, all the while learning from your mistakes
• You enjoy collaborating with and supporting a wide range of peers and mentors
• You set a high bar for your own work (both how it works, and how it looks)
• You have a drive to continually improve processes, code quality and how your team works
• You have a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or STEM
• You have experience in the development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications
• You're comfortable engaging with application architecture and design patterns
• You have deep knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• You have practical experience serving as a technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle, from conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, and testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance
