We are seeking a passionate and creative Art and Craft Teacher with expertise in CBSE curriculum standards to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for developing students' artistic talents and encouraging creativity while adhering to the guidelines set by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The ideal candidate should be capable of inspiring students, fostering a love for art, and integrating hands-on activities to make learning enjoyable.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Teaching and Curriculum Delivery:

   • Design and deliver engaging art and craft lessons in alignment with CBSE curriculum standards.
   • Introduce students to various art forms, techniques, and mediums such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and crafts.
   • Incorporate thematic and interdisciplinary teaching approaches to enhance creativity.

2. Lesson Planning and Evaluation:

   • Prepare detailed lesson plans, teaching materials, and resources tailored to different grade levels.
   • Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on students' art projects and performances.
   • Maintain student portfolios showcasing their artistic progress over the academic year.

3. Creative Development:

   • Encourage students to think creatively and express themselves through art.
   • Organize art-related activities such as exhibitions, workshops, and inter-school competitions.
   • Guide students in exploring both traditional and contemporary art forms.

4. Classroom Management:

   • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
   • Ensure that safety measures are followed during the use of art tools and materials.

5. Professional Development:

   • Stay updated on the latest art and craft teaching techniques and trends.
   • Participate in training programs, workshops, and faculty meetings.

6. Parental Engagement:

   • Communicate students' progress and achievements to parents during meetings.
   • Provide suggestions for fostering creativity at home.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fine Arts (BFA/MFA) or a related field.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) with specialization in Art Education is preferred.
• Proficiency in teaching according to the CBSE curriculum.
