Pricing Analytics Lead - Insurance

Location: Bengaluru,Karnataka,India

Position Description:  BRIDGEi2i is looking for talented individuals with strong track record in implementing actionable analytical solutions to join their Insurance vertical to support a Global Insurance leader on various innovative analytics projects

Essential Qualifications:  Graduates / Post –graduates in Economics/Mathematics/Statistics/Data science/Actuarial science or any other degree that is considered suitable to perform the required function

Technical Qualifications / Experience:  Should have extensive experience in marketing analytics – designing and implementing solutions using statistical/predictive modelling techniques and tools such as SAS, R and SQL. Experience Insurance industry and in advanced AI/ML techniques is a big plus.

Experience:  Should possess 3-5 years of Analytical experience

Responsibilities

• Closely liaise with clients to design and develop innovative solutions using advanced analytical techniques to solve specific business problems
• Design and deliver reporting and other analytical solutions as per clients' requirements in the insurance pricing, actuarial and reserving domain, for various international markets
• Responsible for quality of one's own work and team's deliverables
• Ensure high quality standards and timely delivery in all projects. Mitigate associated risks by effective project planning and progress tracking
• Proactive client/customer engagement and management
• Keep up with cutting edge analytics techniques and tools in the continuously evolving area of decision science
• Contribute to solutions and capability development of the overall insurance practice at BRIDGEi2i to ensure organisational growth

Knowledge and Skills

• Proven track record of designing and delivering analytics solutions – in Insurance and/or FS industries
• High degree of proficiency in SAS (R, Python - good to have) and database management skills (SQL programming)
• Very good interpersonal skills, able to influence without authority, adaptable to changes and possess initiative and creative approaches
• Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
• Understanding of actuarial industry and related topics
• Experience in insurance pricing analytics (preferred)
• Proficient in R, Python and visualisation skills and tools such as Qlik, PowerBI etc. (preferred)

Competencies Required

• Strong project and key stakeholder management experience, preferably in a commercial environment
• Proven ability to work as an individual contributor as well as manage a team
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to mutually agreed upon schedules
• Ability to effectively present and explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience
