Associate Data Engineer - Data Engineering-Data Engineering

We are looking for a talented and passionate Associate Data Engineer to join our dynamic Data Engineering team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring smooth data flow and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your expertise in data engineering concepts, ETL development, SQL, Python, and cloud-based data platforms will be instrumental in driving our data-centric initiatives forward.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop efficient data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency by implementing data validation and quality checks.
• Optimize data processing and storage by leveraging cloud-based data platforms and technologies.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.
• Develop and maintain data models, databases, and data warehouses to support business intelligence and analytics.
• Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, identifying and resolving any performance issues or bottlenecks.
• Stay updated with the latest data engineering technologies and best practices, and suggest improvements to existing processes.
• Document and communicate data engineering processes and best practices within the team and organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong foundation in ETL development and data pipeline design.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages, with the ability to write optimized queries and scripts.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques and database design principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools quickly.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques is a plus.
• Passion for data-driven decision-making and a desire to contribute to business intelligence initiatives.
